Owner Jon Goldsmith is one of the few Americans that are Neapolitan Certified. He prides himself on keeping the restaurant and menu authentic. Most of the ingredients are imported from Italy and many are exclusive only to Spacca Napoli.
He purchased the oven in Naples, flew it over here and had an authentic tradesman from Naples install his oven. His wife, who is an artist, painted the oven.
